The Vision

A gathering of sovereignty.

Cwen is an old english word for feminine ruler.

Our mission is to honor citizens as noble guardians of their bodies, relationships, and of their ideals. We are aligned with global visions of creating a world in which childbirth and postpartum times are safe, every young person’s potential is realized, and that the stewards of care are given respect and rest. In community and fellowship we protect and serve the rights of families to have a sense of well being through equity and freedom from discrimination. As a community of connectedness, we are dedicated to working with those in the caring profession. Caring for caregivers is essential to the fabric of our humanity and a priority for Cwen.

Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth Dreyfuss is a clinical counselor and an educator. She has been working with young children and families for over 25 years. Passionate about creating wrap-around services for new mothers and a holistic view of childhood, Elizabeth strives to provide opportunities for humans to grow and express themselves in dynamic, creative ways. After studying abroad in East Africa and England and working in early intervention services in New York City, Elizabeth has a global view of how to develop best practices for guardians of children. In addition, her work has lead her to a practice that incorporates somatic therapies so that the embodied self is recognized and used as a catalyst for healing and comfort. Her individual work with clients uses a therapeutic rapport that sets goals, works with personal strengths, and sows insight into perception.
